Surrounded by winter landscapes and fresh mountain air, the days are intentionally unhurried. with movement, nourishing food, time outdoors, and plenty of room to simply be.

Pilates and gentle stretching create a rhythm throughout the weekend, while the rest is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

 

Slow mornings, snowy walks, long meals, warmth and stillness, and the simple pleasure of being somewhere without the constant pull of your phone.

This is a chance to pause from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with what often gets lost in the noise: your body, your surroundings, and the people sharing the weekend with you.

Sunday:
A final morning to enjoy breakfast, gentle movement, and a slow start before departing around 11:00.

"Das Haus"

Tucked away in the hills of Homberg, overlooking the beautiful landscapes of the Bernese Oberland, Das Haus offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Set in a secluded position at the edge of the forest, the property feels wonderfully removed from everyday life while still being close to Lake Thun and the town of Thun.

The house is warm, characterful, and made for slowing down. Surrounded by a spacious private garden, there is plenty of room to settle into the quieter side of winter — whether that means taking a walk through the surrounding countryside, lingering over a meal, or simply enjoying the view with nowhere else to be.

Outside, the garden becomes part of the experience. A hot tub, sauna, outdoor seating areas, and fire pit create cosy spaces to warm up and unwind after time spent in the winter air. The property also has direct access to the surrounding forest and nearby nature, making it easy to step outside and explore.

Inside, the atmosphere is intimate and inviting, with comfortable communal spaces designed for shared meals, conversation, and slow evenings together. The house combines the feeling of a private countryside home with everything needed for a restorative winter escape.

FAQS

Travel Information

The retreat will take place in the peaceful countryside of Homberg, Bern, surrounded by rolling hills, forest, and beautiful winter landscapes.

The property is easily accessible by car or public transport, making it a convenient getaway from across Switzerland.

By car
Driving is likely to be the easiest option for most guests. The property is located approximately 10 minutes from Thunand has parking available at the house.

By train
The nearest major train station is Thun. From there, the property can be reached by local bus and a short walk. We will provide more detailed directions and help coordinate arrivals closer to the retreat.

If flying in
For guests travelling from further afield, Bern Airport or Zurich Airport are the most convenient options. From either airport, you can continue your journey by train to Thun and then on to Homberg.

We recommend planning your arrival for Thursday afternoon or early evening, with the retreat beginning with a relaxed welcome and dinner that evening.

Further travel details, directions, and arrival coordination will be shared with all guests closer to the retreat date.

Cancellation Policy 

All payments made toward the retreat are non-refundable. This includes the initial deposit and any subsequent payments.

Due to the nature of retreat planning and limited availability, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations, missed travel, or early departures for any reason.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, subject to approval and provided all payments have been completed.

In the unlikely event that the retreat must be canceled by the host, all payments will be refunded in full.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking in case of unforeseen circumstances.
